Designed and certified to internationally recognized ATEX and IECEx standards, the PTA10 safely dissipates accumulated static electricity, significantly reducing the risk of electrostatic ignition in explosive atmospheres. It is an ideal solution for industries where safety, reliability, and compliance are critical.
The PTA10 is certified with ATEX II 2 GD and provides explosion protection rated Ex db IIC T6/T5 Gb for gas atmospheres and Ex tb IIIC T85°C/T100°C Db for combustible dust environments. It is suitable for installation and use in Zone 1 and Zone 2 gas hazardous areas, as well as Zone 21 and Zone 22 dust hazardous areas.
Constructed from high-quality industrial materials, the grounding clamp features a stainless steel hook, a heavy-duty brass spring, and a durable polyamide insulation sleeve, ensuring excellent corrosion resistance and long-term performance in harsh operating environments. The enclosure offers IP66/IP67 ingress protection, making it dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets and temporary immersion.
The PTA10 supports cable sizes of 6 mm², 10 mm², and 16 mm², accommodates material thicknesses from 0.5 mm to 3 mm, and is rated for a maximum current of 10 A. It operates within an ambient temperature range of -20°C to +40°C, with temperature classifications T6 to T5, and weighs approximately 1 kg, providing a robust yet practical solution for industrial applications.
